Counseling Services

College life is a time of transition, change, and growth in a high pressure academic environment. It is not uncommon for anyone, at one time or another, to need supportive assistance. Counseling seeks to help prevent or minimize problems that might otherwise lead to a crisis situation. Personal counseling is a chance to privately talk over your concerns with an objective person who can help you learn new skills that equip you to solve problems now and in the future.

A full range of confidential counseling services is available to USF students. Students may seek assistance for concerns in areas such as:
-Adjustment to College
-High Levels of Stress
-Depression or Sadness
-Relationship Challenges
-Self-esteem Issues
-Anxiety and/or Worry
-Boundary Issues
-Substance Abuse
-Poor or Harmful Eating Habits
-Life Trauma
-Other personal concerns
